- Verio (Web Hosting Company and Internet Service Provider)
Worked over a four year period, from start-up to NTT's acquisition of
Verio for $5.5 Billion. Assembled the initial business plan and created
the financial and network engineering model, budgeted for ongoing operations,
determined funding requirements, and helped plan the acquisition strategy.
- Astrology.com (The Internet's most popular Astrology site)
Developed a financial model and advised the CEO on the acquisition of
Astrology.com by iVillage.
- SensoryScapes (Healthcare company)
Facilitated business planning and strategy for start-up, positioning,
and funding requirements. Brett Sharenow is on the Board of Directors.
- OneComm and Dial Page (Digital cellular and dispatch service
providers)
Assisted in overall strategy, market positioning, analysis of frequency
consolidation, and subsequent acquisition of both companies by Nextel.
- Pacific Bell Mobile Services (PCS service provider now a part
of Cingular)
Assisted with the start-up business plan and financial model for Pacific
Bell's winning bid of the first FCC auction for PCS spectrum in California.

PacTel Cellular (Now a part of Verizon)
Advised senior management over a four year period on the strategic
and regulatory implications of analog-to-digital conversion for cellular,
pricing strategies, and cellular/PCS as a replacement for landline
telephony. Coordinated preparation of the application that won a national
cellular telephone license in Germany.
